This whisky is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon American white oak casks that have been stripped, toasted and re-charred. Cask-strength Kavalan Solist Ex-Bourbon that has been diluted with Kavalan spring water to 46% alcoholic strength. It is incredibly smooth with a soft sweetness, losing the harshness of the alcohol's edge.
