What you'll need
|2 oz||Convite Mezcal Esencial|
|1 oz||Fresh Lime Juice|
|4 oz||Grapefruit Soda|
|1 oz||Jalapeno Syrup|
Pour Convite Mezcal Esencial, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and 1 ounce of jalapeno simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Rim the glass with chamoy sauce and add tajin for extra flavor. Fill with ice and shake vigorously before straining into an iced highball glass. Add grapefruit soda to top. Place lime wheel on the rim and jalapeno slices.
How to Make Jalapeno Syrup:
Heat the sugar, water, and jalapeno in a saucepan until boiling. Simmer for ten minutes, covered, then remove from heat. Strain the liquid to remove the jalapeno. Store the simple syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a couple weeks.
